Ming River Baijiu is an amazing spirit. I can tell you how excited I am to experience what is possible now that it is in my bar. The tropical notes on the nose immediately make me dream of exotic combinations and that leads me to Tiki. The classic Mai Tai is so pure in its structure and flavor. What better showcase could there be to discover how Baijiu can react when it meets classic tropical flavors.

Since and Old Fashioned can be made from any spirit, let's learn about a new one. Baijiu will be new to most of you but it is fascinating dive into an ancient culture and tradition and no doubt will continue to grow as an integral part of any bar line up! Plus I get to talk to Renee Griego, who teaches me what Baijiu and Bartending is all about!
